Well, that was fun, wasn’t it??

Just came back from lester’s birthday gathering. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESTER! We went to boat quay area for the gathering, specifically, the MIND cafe. It was a cafe but not just any ordinary cafe. It has board games! Cool, man. I didnt know such a place existed in Singapore. We sat down and started to play a game with our grumbling stomachs. A game called Jenga with a truth or dare twist to it. I had to remove a dare piece and had to do it, which involves me skipping around our couch and singing a happy tune. Like WTF??! So embarassing. But its all for the fun of the game. I don’t wanna be seen as “unsporting”.

After that, along came Polly, i mean Yee Meng, Rui Xiang and our dear fashionably late Alison. We were playing Taboo then. That was by far the funniest game i’ve ever played in my life. Come on, man. I was laughing until i teared up and my stomach cramping like crazy. After finishing our game, we decided to pay the bill. And that’s when the stupid incident began. The cashier was like or sumthing like, ” You all got order a cake or sumthing?” And Lester, the birthday boy was there. Like WTF was the cashier thinking??!! He just spoiled ur surprise.

In my mind i was like, “Lester, later give us face la. Act surprised can?? Lol.” After that, we took the cake and slowly walked to esplanade where i had miss baybeats. How could i miss baybeats?? But i think right now i’m glad i miss it. I should know why. We had a hard time choosing a specific place to cut the cake for the bdae boy and finally, after a grueling 5 mins of standing like idiots, we finally went to the steps at Marina Square and cut the cake there. There we were, sitting down talking about stuff, especially Jonathan’s experience as a nurse at Tan Tock Seng. We all had our fair share of laughter and not to mention being entertained by the crazy antics of Lester and Jonathan.

We then left for Sunplaza’s Mac. We decided to bounce from Marina Bay. So we waited for the train towards Marina Bay and Alison was like, “Are you sure this train does not terminate at Marina Bay?” I can sense fear plaguing her insides. Just kidding. So drama….Anyways, we were in the train i started to chat with Alison. It’s great chatting with her. Talked about school, life, CCAs, boys blah blah blah and the list goes on, well i think. Moving on, we coincidentally met Nadira on our way home cause she had left halfway to meet our friends. And surprisingly, i kinda recognised one of them as it was my brother’s friend from primary school. Shockingly, he still recognises me. Haha. Another friend of her was hot man. A girl (duh!). She looked like a Caucasian girl and she’s so damn fine. When we got off at Sembawang, I told Nad that her Caucasian friend was hot. And she was like, “She’s Iranian.” Well, who cares?? Iranian or Caucasian, as long as she’s hot, that’ll definitely do.

In the end, the people left for the gathering as me, Alison, Rui Xiang, Jonathan, Yee Meng, Jiazheng and the bdae boy. We slacked at Mac while Jonathan send our princess Michelle home. When Jon came back, we suddenly found ourselves engaging in conversations, reminiscing our past life in secondary schools. We laughed all about it. Some stupid incidents, some funny ones. It was great just sitting around chatting with old friends. After that, we were supposed to go Jon’s house to slack, sleep, play his Nintendo Wii, whatever.

In the end, we sat outside 7-11, talked about games and how to do a moonwalk. After that, everyone was tired and decided to not go Jon’s house and everyone went back home. In my mind i was like, ” Great, now everyone’s at home enjoying while i’m at Sembawang stuck at 415am with no bus to take home!” So, i went to Mac and basically sat there and stoned. Literally. I took a short nap for like one hour and when i woke up i saw that the barrier to the MRT was lifted. Woohoo. The time was like 540am. Took the mrt to Admiralty and walked home, enjoying the cool breeze on the way. And i don’t think i’m going to sleep either. Not even close to sleepy and tired. Maybe it’s because of the company of friends that i enjoyed. That’s why.

And to Jon and Lester. If you are reading this, I KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO MY PHONE OOKKAYYY!!! Good thing i check sia. If not,……(fill in the blanks)……

I seriously think wordpress should put more themes as blogskins. God, like so limited and it all looks so disgusting. I keep changing my skin cuz i cant find the right and suitable one. Maybe i should stick to a plain and simple one. I DUNNO!!

Slacking

Its about time i started blogging back now that exams are over. Woohoo!. And holidays here i come! I still dun know what i’m going to do during these holidays. maybe get a part-time job at the IT show. i dun know. let’s just see where fate takes me. but right now, i’ve been watching gossip girl and let me tell u that show is effing great! i recommend everyone to go watch it during these holidays. if u dun have, can approach me, i got the whole season in my laptop.

Other than watching gossip girl, i’m so addicted to the game that aloysius introduced me. the psp game, monster hunter freedom 2. hunting and killing monsters never felt so fun before. <managed to squeeze in a sadistic laugh> Anyways, looking forward to baybeats and celebrating lester’s bdae with my sec sch frens. such a long time never see them oreadi!.

BBQ!

Just came back from our class bbq on a national day eve. It rocks actually. Had bbq with the German students in our class and their friends. So cool man. Sharing their experience in Singapore with us. Lol. And one of them actually didnt like durian. Lol. It was kinda cool to mix around with them and get to know them. And all of them are actually super hot! But boohoo..They leaving us in the next semester..So sad..Anyways, i hope there’s going to be another batch of foreign students joining our class next semester. That would be cool and great. Pictures of the bbq will be posted as soon as i get it.

Moving on, i forgot to blog about our NYPPE performance at the TFA with the Dance Company. It was DAMN NICE. And i’ll tell u why. We got like one of the loudest applauses among all of the other short perfomances. There was a small part in our piece that requires every player to do short 4 bar solo. I was so shocked that when I did my solo, the audience was like, “WoOhOo!, WoOhOo!” followed by a short applause. I was super stunned! But the feeling was great la. After the performance, the rest of the ensemble members was like “Eh why our solo they never clap ah but ridwan’s one they clap??”. My only response to that was, ” Of course la, Ridwan wad!”. Lol. Joking.

Been Awhile..

Its been so long since i last blog. NO TIME. This semester is all about projects. Lol. And also with percussion ensemble. Haiz. But now, currently taking a short break from everything. Me and my brother and currently recording a few songs using my recording software installed in my laptop. Great man. Planning to form a band with him. It would be AWESOME! The way we do it is that I’ll record my drum track in NYP’s band room. Then, when I reach home, I just let my brother listen to it and play his guitar track over it. So far, our songs rock! And so is my drumming, I must sae. Lol.

Anyways, once we completed our songs, I was thinking of putting it on Myspace. And when that happens, I shall inform all u readers and bloggers out there.! Hyahoo!
